My Speech

Text :
"Youth for the Future of Indonesia"
Assalamu'alaikum.Wr.Wb
Ladies, gentlemen, and friends that I love,
Youth is a figure that always brings alterations. Alteration in life order of some era is quite influenced by the role of youths. In 1982, youths gathered altogether and then took the pledge in order to tighten the unity of Indonesia. This pledge was known as Youth Pledge. All youths from all over Indonesia from various ethnics, cultures, languages, and regions strove for retaking the independence of nation altogether.
Who doesn’t know Mr. Soekarno, our first president of Indonesia? Nobody doubted him in each of his speech to encourage the youths in maintaining the independence of Indonesia. The long journey of Indonesia to the national independence shows us how great the influence was regarding our nation’s life. And then as the youth Muslim generation, what have we contributed to society, nation, religion, and especially our own selves? Have we given any alteration?
A Muslim youth should go on with positive alterations day after day in his or her life. How a loss if a Muslim youth is seen to be worse than yesterday. The success of a youth in dealing with a number of life handicaps along with the good alterations will be the basic in how he or she brings alterations to his or her surroundings and those that are bigger than that.
To all of my companions that I proud of, Dr. Yusuf Qardhawi said that there are three things that underlie a youth as a foundation of alteration;
1.   Youths come with brilliant brain
2.   Youths have strong physicals
3.   Youths behave objectively
Ladies, gentlemen, and all the companions blessed by Allah. It’s about the time for Muslim youths to rise up for creating alterations in every line of life and keeping as well as maintaining the self-image of Islam. Moreover, Islam has been being besieged from all over the directions. We need to increase our knowledge about Islam by reading various books. Not only Islamic books but also those books whose contents sometimes offense the world of Islam. Thus, youth generations can have the provisions to become the agents of alteration.
Make our youth as the time that’s full of benefits and all the good things before the coming of old age, when all of our spirits would fade away. What are we waiting for, if we can do the alteration now? Use our youth times to become the part of Islam’s awakening history in Indonesia.
That’s all I could say. I wish we can meet again someday. Please forgive me for the mistakes on my words. Thanks for the attention.
Wassalamu’alaikum. Wr.wb

''Crazy weekend''

BY An-nisa Furqonita 1 comment

Dear diary........

''Crazy weekend''
31st March was a really interesting day. In the morning after I had woken up I heard some noise. I couldn’t now imagine what sound it was but I’m sure it wasn’t normal. There were many things which could happen. Suddenly a horrible noise was near me. In my mind there was only one thing "what will be if this terrible noise means this is a ghost!?”. I had many thoughts and I felt lonely. I considered there must be somebody from my family.
After that I heard some other bad sound and it was something like steps of my grandfather in slipperes. All at once in the door of my room appered a big figure with something weird in hands. Fortunately, it was my brother with a tray and on that tray there was a big plate with a soft-boiled egg and with a crunchy roll. The noise which I had heard was thanks to my brother because he had been peeling an egg for me. The eggshell made that bad noise, can you imagine it? I was laughting all the time. My brother wanted to be nice and he was but I was terrified unnecessarily.

My Business

My Business
Following graduation from University, I intend to serve a marketing team in a local physical therapy company. My short-term goal is to lead a team. Due to the popular physical therapy company thirty miles, much of the local population is unaware of the quality services Physical Therapy has to offer. I hope to increase visits by 40 percent in the first 5 years of my employment. My long-term goal includes extending the company’s reach into surrounding cities, and eventually beyond national barriers, becoming a global marketing manager.
I expect to gain skills and experiences from University that will propel my short and long-term goals. I hope to develop an experiential and diverse learning experience and have the opportunity to interact with different groups of people to learn from their business insights and endeavours. I seek the tools and resources needed to further engage in my marketing knowledge, perform professional strategic analyses, and re-evaluate my past work experiences. I look forward to taking courses from Professor Jim. W. Reid, who has published the research of the success of Matthews and Marketing in his book, “Matthews Commerce,” which has helped me continue my career this far. I also look forward to taking the unique classes taught by Professor Rachel E. Davis, introducing me to the physical therapy world and enriching my business skills in that area.
With the passion I have for the success of Physical Therapy, and the determination I learned from watching my brother, all I need to complete my goals is the knowledge available to me through an S.Si at my University. I look forward to completing my career aspirations to contribute to my professional career. The world of physical therapy is growing, and with my skills in marketing, I hope to grow the local Ridgeview services across the globe.

How to Make a Origami Crane

BY An-nisa Furqonita 1 comment

How to Make a Origami Crane

Step 1: Hip to Be Square
For this project you will need 1 square piece of paper (preferably origami paper)*, and nimble fingers.

Step 2: X Folds
Show All Items
The first step is to fold the square diagonally, corner to corner. Repeat the same process again so that it looks like an x on your paper. Make sure that you properly align the edges or else your crane won't fold as well. Make sure it is as perfect as possible.

Step 3: + Folds
Show All Items
The second step is to flip the paper over and fold the paper in half horizontally. Repeat this process again so that your paper looks like a + and a x on top of each other. Make sure it is pefect just like with the x. Making sure your folds are aligned perfectly is a key part of this.

Step 4: Accordion Fold
Open the square up, keeping the colored side down. Turn the square so that one of the corners is pointing at you.
Bring the two side corners in to meet the corner on the table that's pointing at you. (like pictured)
Take the top corner that's still sticking up and press it down to join the other corners, creating an accordion folded square.

Step 5: Superman Fold
With the 'flap' corners still facing you, take the top right hand corner of the square and fold it into the center diagonal line of the square. The result of your folds will look a bit like the Superman logo shape. Repeat this with the left top corner.

Step 6: Top Fold
Once both parts are folded in pull the top part down and press the crease.

Step 7: Frog Mouth to Diamond Fold
After you have both halves of the triangle pulled in pull them back out and lift up the top piece of paper. Next, lift up the top front corner and hold down the other three front corners. Pull the top corner up. It should look look like a frogs mouth.
The next part is a bit tricky. Pull the top corner all the up and back so that the top piece lies flat. Carefully press all the folds down so that you end up with a diamond shape on top of the bottom diagonal square.

Step 8: Press Repeat
Show All Items
Flip the paper over and repeat Steps 5-7 to the other side.

Step 9: Skinny Kite Fold
Show All Items
Next, fold the right top corner of the diamond in to meet the center line. Press down that fold.
Repeat this for the left top corner.
Flip the paper over and repeat the above steps for the other side. You'll end up with something that looks a bit like a skinny kite shape.

Step 10: Wolf's Head Fold
Now, lift up the top right side and press it over to the other side, like turning a page in a book. Press down the middle fold.
Flip the paper over and repeat this in the same direction, right to left, on the other side.
You will end up with a very elongated 'wolf's head' shape.

Step 11: Snout Flip Fold
Lift up the wolfs snout and fold it so it meets with the tips of the ears. Press that new fold down.

Flip the paper over and repeat on the other side.
Step 12: Book Fold
Like you did in Step 9, fold the right side top layer of the paper in a book fold, from right to left.
Flip the paper over and repeat on the other side.
Step 13: Heads & Tails Fold
Show All Items
Next, you pull out the long pieces of paper (the head/neck & tail). Pull them both out so that they line up with the angle of the body fold. (like pictured)
Bend the top of one side down to make the head.
Step 14: Flap Folds
Fold both wings down where two different angles meet on the wing flaps. Press the folds.
 Step 15: Puff It Up
To finish off the crane and make it able to stand, gently pull the wings apart where they're folded.
Then turn the crane upside down and gently pull the opposite corners apart to finish opening up the body.
You can also try blowing into the hole on the bottom as you pulll out the wings to make sure you're crane's body is puffed out. Be careful to not pull out the wings too much or they'll rip. If the wings rip you will have to restart your crane with a new piece of paper.
Step 16: You're Finished!
Enjoy your brand new origami crane! If you had problems with these steps, please watch the video and re-read the steps. Good luck! I did this project because I love making paper cranes and I'm really good at it. Paper cranes are also cute decorations that cost almost nothing. I hope you"ll enjoy paper cranes as much as I do!

Love love love....

Love love love....

My bestfriend is Rian and he is my classmate. We go to campus together. Rian has been my close friend for two years. I first met him on a school exchange trip. I asked him the way to the library and we started talking. We’ve been friends ever since. Rian comes from an educated family. His father is a school principal and his mother is also a teacher.
He is punctual, well-educated, and has good manners. He is really hard working. He always does his homework. He is also well-dressed and well-behaved. All teachers have a high opinion of him.Rian has a well-built body. He is gentle but fearless. He takes part in all sports, scout, trekking and mountaineering activities. He has a good heart. He is truthful, honest and obedient. He also plays the guitar, and he makes his parents very proud of him. He secures good marks and is usually top of his class in examinations. He inspires me to work harder. He keeps me away from bad company.
Rian is quite good-looking and very outgoing. He is always friendly and loves to have fun. He’s got a fantastic sense of humour and he always makes me laugh. However, he can be a bit immature at times. For example, when he doesn’t get what he wants, he acts childishly and stamps his feet. I am happy to have such a friend.

My Bestfriend

BY An-nisa Furqonita 1 comment

My Bestfriend

My name is Annisa. I am nineteen years old. My hobby is singing and I don’t have any special interest at something. I am not good at singing but I love to do it. I always do it when I am alone. I’m not really like studying and reading books. I know that’s important to support my score at school but I have another point of view. For me, studying is not always about reading and doing exercise. Studying is listening to my bestfriend’s story about the subject that she has already read about. She loves reading a lot. She provides me knowledge by listening to her story. She packs the lessons into some interesting stories. I think she has a talent to be a great teacher.

She doesn’t like to be exposed that she has great talent in packing a lesson into story. I keep that secret from the others. I am afraid if tell it to someone else, she will get angry and doesn’t want to help me anymore. However, I ever did that. I tell it to my teacher and my teacher said it in front of my classmates. You know what happened? She couldn’t get angry with me. Hmm, she was angry but a little. She didn’t want to talk to me for 5 minutes. She is very kind. That’s why she never let me down even though I often make her angry. This is what me love her so much, and I think I would not be happy without my bestfriends.
